Property Division & Continued Use of Mobile while new home is being
built.
Property Owner Clay Darling met with Planning Commission prior to this
meeting.
Planning Commission voted to approve split of 9.88 acres into one five
acre and one 4.88 acre plots and to allow variance on mobile on the 4.88
acres while home is being built on that plot
R. McMillin made motion to approve lot split and variance for 2006
manufactured home. (on
4.88 acres while home is being built)

Board was advised that roof is leaking over office section. Carlton
Taylor advised this roof is under warranty.

FIRE DEPT REPORT
A. Allotting portion of FEMA
Funds (pertaining to FD Involvement, hours during ice storm) to Fire
Dept Acct.
Rescue applied for by County will be getting $6500.
Money was made on recent golf tournament.
Sending out donation letters. No action on FEMA funds.
Ridge Vents-Fire Dept
Mark Taylor advised of need for ventilation in Fire Dept Bldg. He
checked with three places and got quotes $1500-$2000 to buy – then
firefighters will install the vents.

Fund (01-01-6070)

Fire Dept Report (cont)
Pagers
Mark Taylor addressed his opinion that police dept needs to keep pagers
as part of emergency mgmt and fire dept.
Cost is only $30 a month (for PD pagers).
80-20 Foresty Grant
Mark Taylor requested approval to apply for grant for pagers and
computer.
Emergency Mgmt Report
Mobile Command Post (Recind Paint/Repair – Possible Sale of Unit)
Ms. Fields advised that mobile unit is not adequate and she requests not
painting and repairing as previous approved.

Purchase-Siren Radio-Water Tower Site
Patti Fields reported need for repair of siren at water tower.
R. Poland made motion, due to emergency situation, to purchase
siren (radio) at $1750 plus installation costs.
