CITIZENS TIME

Darryl Fortune questioned reason PD night shift has been covered by County Officers instead of Jones. He was advised that shortage of officers created this but it was noted that hiring of an officer is on tonight’s agenda.

Resolution 04-07-09 – Eastern Oklahoma County Medical Authority

Approval-Grant Application-PD Officer (COPS) Grant

Joe Bradley presented grant information which would pay for one officer for three years. After disc: R. Poland made motion to approve application for COPS Grant and to appoint Joe Bradley as Agent for the grant work. M. Elerick seconded. Yes- M. Elerick, , R. Poland, R.McMillin, T. Shuffield. No-R. Request-Duplex Housing (One) 6^th & Montana

Ty Burroughs requested approval for duplex to be built at 5^th & Montana. It was noted that Planning Commission had met this evening on this and had given approval. There is actually no ordinance in the book to prevent the building of a duplex housing. Mr. Burroughs also mentioned later on of the possibility of building at his property on Sweetbough. No voting action needed.

Community Center-Bids-New Floor

Two bids were received; 1) Ferguson - $7056 2) David Kann- $17,136.40 After disc:

Truck for FD

Discussion regarding possibility of purchasing pickup for FD which would be capable of pulling hazmat trailer – Give current PU to Maint. After disc: Will wait until next budget.

Training Simulator-New Defibs
