Deputy Town Clerk Job Opening

The Town of Jones City is currently accepting resumes for Deputy Town Clerk. Salary Range- $29,432 to $40,726 annually. This position will perform a variety of tasks typically performed by a Town Clerk, Utility Clerk, and/or Municipal Court Clerk.
The position requires a high degree of organizational skills, attention to detail, the ability to complete independent projects as well as to work in a team environment, and the adaptability to multi-task. Must have excellent written and oral communication and the ability to deal effectively with a wide array of stakeholders.

Desired minimum qualifications include a bachelor’s degree in business administration or other related field, plus three years of administrative office experience. Any combination of education and experience that provides equivalent knowledge, skills, and abilities will be considered. Municipal Clerk Certification is highly desirable.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office, QuickBooks, and Jayhawk Utility Billing Software is required. Aptitude to learn the Offender Tracking Information System (OTIS) comprehensive law enforcement and municipal court records management system will be essential.
